The Role

As an Audit Manager, you'll play a key role in leading and delivering high-quality audits, managing client relationships, and the performance of audit team members. Working closely with Associate Directors, Directors and Partners, you'll help ensure engagements are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest professional standards.

• You'll manage a portfolio of corporate and charity clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.

• You'll plan, lead and deliver audits, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to a high technical standard.

• You'll review audit work, provide technical guidance to junior team members, and ensure compliance with firm methodology and regulatory requirements.

• You'll build strong relationships with clients, delivering excellent service and supporting them with their audit and accounting requirements.

• You'll coach, develop and mentor Associates and Senior Associates, helping them grow their technical and professional skills.

• You'll identify opportunities to support existing clients and contribute to the continued growth of the Audit & Assurance team.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

We're looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Manager with experience leading audits across a portfolio of corporate clients and experience developing strong client relationships. You'll also:

• Have experience managing audit assignments from planning through to completion within an accountancy practice environment.

• Be confident building relationships with business owners, finance teams and other key stakeholders.

• Have strong technical audit and accounting knowledge, with experience reviewing the work of junior team members.

• Demonstrate excellent organisational and project management skills, balancing multiple priorities effectively.

• Enjoy coaching and developing others, creating an environment where people can learn and grow.

• Be commercially aware, recognising opportunities to strengthen client relationships and support business growth.

• Value feedback and continuous improvement, contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.

• Be comfortable working effectively in a hybrid environment, both remotely and in the office.

• Core working hours are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday
