The Role
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of Talent Acquisition within a growing, ambitious business where hiring is viewed as a key driver of success.
Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you'll lead Gravita's day-to-day recruitment activity, manage our Talent Acquisition Specialist, and partner with leaders across the business to deliver hiring plans across multiple service lines.
Alongside managing current hiring needs, you'll play a critical role in shaping our future talent strategy. A significant focus of the role will be building and maintaining pipelines for future Director and Partner hires, ensuring we're identifying and engaging exceptional talent long before vacancies arise.
We're looking for someone with a strong track record in executive search, leadership hiring, or senior professional services recruitment, who is equally comfortable operating strategically and rolling up their sleeves to deliver.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Talent Acquisition at Gravita
Lead the day-to-day Talent Acquisition function.
Line manage and develop our Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Drive a high-performance, candidate-focused recruitment experience.
Continuously improve recruitment processes, tools and ways of working.
Work closely with the wider People team to support business growth.
Deliver Hiring Across the Business
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define effective recruitment strategies.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across a broad range of roles and service lines.
Support stakeholders through briefing, attraction, selection and offer stages.
Ensure a consistently excellent candidate experience.
Build Future Leadership Pipelines
Create and maintain talent pipelines for future Director and Partner-level hiring.
Conduct talent mapping and market research across relevant sectors.
Build relationships with high-calibre individuals before opportunities arise.
Provide insight on competitor hiring activity and talent market trends.
Support long-term workforce planning through proactive talent engagement.
Support Early Careers Hiring
Oversee Gravita's graduate and early careers recruitment activity.
Support attraction initiatives, assessment activities and selection processes.
Help ensure a positive experience for future talent joining the business.
Partner with Senior Stakeholders
Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior leaders.
Influence hiring decisions through data, insight and market knowledge.
Provide regular updates on recruitment activity and hiring progress.
Challenge constructively where needed to improve outcome
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
You'll be an experienced recruitment professional who enjoys balancing strategic talent work with hands-on delivery.
You'll likely come from an executive search, leadership hiring, professional services or high-growth environment and have experience influencing senior stakeholders.
You'll bring:
Significant experience in recruitment, executive search or talent acquisition.
A track record of hiring senior and specialist talent.
Experience managing or mentoring recruitment team members.
Strong sourcing, talent mapping and market research skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Our standard working week is a 37.5-hour week on a hybrid basis
Core working hours are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday
